excel cannot re-open it because of sharing violation

Whenever i try to save the excel file i will recive the error as "The
document was saved successfully, but Excel cannot re-open it because of a
sharing violation. Please close the document and try to open it again."

would be appreciated for quick response

Hi, I understand this is an old post but have same problem with Windows 7 and
Excel 2007 and saving Shared Excel file on a Netgear ReadyNAS Pro.
